Overnight stay at hotel. Day 2 : Cochin Morning after breakfast we will take you for sight seeing by boat visiting, Jewish Synagogue, Dutch Palace, St. Francis Church, Chinese fishing nets and Bolgatty Palace. Rest of the day free at leisure. Overnight stay at hotel. Day 3 : Cochin - Munnar Morning after breakfast drive to Munnar, enjoying the scenic beauty & the marvelous waterfalls, high mountains with the low flying clouds passing by. On arrival at Munnar check in at the hotel. In the evening you can go for sight seeing of Munnar and witness tea gardens spread like a green carpet over hundreds of kilometers, lust green hills, a place so difficult to describe, very low population too far from pollution, most of the covered by Tata tea. Overnight at hotel. Munnar hills is situated at an altitude of 5000 to 8000 Ft above sea level. and is situated at the confluence of three mountain streams - Mudrapuzha, Nallathani & Kundala. This beautiful hill station was once the summer resort of the erstwhile British Government in South India. Sprawling Tea plantations, picture book towns, winding lanes, and holiday facilities make this a popular resort town. Munnar also has the highest peak in South India - Anamudi , which towers over 2695 m. Anamudi is an ideal spot for trekking. The high ranges of Munnar were earlier known as Kannan Devan Hills, named after a certain Kannan Devan, who had been land lord in the Anchanad Valley on the eastern side of the district. The main cultivation crops in Munnar are Tea and Coffee Day 4 : Munnar Morning after breakfast sightseeing tour of Munnar visit including, the Raja Malai, a top peak of Munnar where you can see Neel Thar (mountain goats), Muttupetty dam, Indo Swiss project. In the afternoon enjoy boating in the Lake (optional). Overnight at hotel. Day 5 : Munnar - Thekkady Morning drive to Thekkady on the way visit Idukki Dam, This is the one of best known wild life centres in India. The Periyar Wild Life Sanctuary here, offers a fairly good chance of seeing the great Indian tiger in its natural habitat. On arrival check in at hotel. In the afternoon we will take you for a sightseeing tour of tea and cardamom plantations. Overnight stay at hotel. Day 6 : Thekkady Morning, entire day spent at Thekkady-boating through Periyar lake ever memorable. Visiting Periyar Wild Life Sanctuary, Murikkudy, Pandikuzhy etc. Overnight at Hotel. Day 7 : Thekkady - Alleppey Morning after breakfast drive to Alleppey, On arrival check in at the hotel. Rest of the day free for own activities. Overnight stay at hotel. Day 08 : Alleppey - Kumarakom Morning after breakfast check out from the hotel and transfer to the houseboat. Overnight stay at house boat.
